The Hockhocking Adena Bikeway is a 21 mile bike trail through Athens County. Starting on East State Street in Athens, this trail will take you along the Hocking River.
The Chauncey Community Park is the local community park for all. It is also the trailhead for the newly founded Baileys Trail. The park features a pump track, playground, restroom facility, basketball court, pavilion, amphitheater, designated food truck parking, the main trailhead to the Baileys Trail System, and trailhead to the HockHocking Adena Bikeway.
Thank you for your interest in the Chauncey Community Park! In order to use the shelter house/pavilion for a private event, please use the application attached. If you are interested in setting up a mobile food vending operation at the park, please complete the attached application. Applications can be submitted by mail to Village of Chauncey, PO Box 227, Chauncey, Ohio 45719, by dropping off at Village Hall located at 42 Converse Street, or by emailing to chauncey.waterclerk@gmail.com. The whole park can also be rented for special events with sufficient notice, contact chaunceymayor@gmail.com for more details.
